The New York State Young Birders Club is an active group for birders between the ages of 10 and 19. See their website to join, as either a youth member or a supporting adult. The club is always looking for expert adult birders to volunteer to lead field trips to some of New York's birding hotspots, along with an adult leader from NYSYBC.
